  1. Welcome to cyberspace. I look forward to reading more about the view from your side of the hill as I know I’ll be there soon enough.

  2. Good for you Muriel, you’re braver than me with new technology. Seems to me with your interesting life there is a book waiting to be written by you. I have moved so will email you my new phone number, etc.
    Love and admiration, Betty

  3. Hooray. I look forward to reading about you and your family, and everyone you know. I know it is not meant to be a “gossip column”, or was that the old fashioned term for, blog? Have fun with it.

  4. You have over the years been a source of joy to me with your many stories. As you venture into this new medium, filling these cyber pages, I know many others will find as much joy in your stories as I have. I look forward to reading more.

  5. Hi Muriel,
I just started to read your blog. I am finding it really interesting and very professionally created. Why am I surprised – I would expect nothing less from you. Thank you for taking the time to so thoughtfully prepare it and share your wonderful experiences with us.

    Cheers,
    John

  6. I 2nd Betty’s comments. You’re braver than me, Muriel, putting yourself out there! But then, I suppose that is the wont of writers… 🙂

  7. Wonderful blog, Muriel. I love the way your writing is personal on the one hand, and at the same time entertaining and educational!

  8. Hi Muriel, Yes I did make it to the Hague in April. If you will go to periodical United World, there is an article about my experiences. I think that Tad Daley, and author friend, who has worked for Physicians for Social Responsibility, he also writes for them; somehow he has my article on line. I loved your snail mail letter. so I will just sign off and send one of those someday.
    Fondly, Esther Franklin

And about technology, using cellphones what you wrote is true, I too feel the same as you
when my husband don’t listen to my words and he will be in his cellphone, I feel anger 🙂

  11. Happy to hear from you. Me too never been to anywhere out of India.
But, I always try to know, read about all the countries through Net 🙂
I watch many Hollywood movies, TV series etc and I’m getting to know lovely people on blogging.

  12. WOW, that was a lot of homework to get the list done. It is amazing how being online can bring all of us together, know each other s lives and share our thoughts.

  13. Wow, you have a humungous list of countries here! WordPress has been successful in making me aware of all the different cultures and communities out there. Knowing them, and forging friendships. I am really glad to have met you in this cyberspace.
Will be your dedicated reader forever,
    Arnav
PS – I was wondering where to mail you!

  15. Gosh,. Now I wonder what I was smoking. I checked with Prof. Google. He said you’re right. Your country IS spelled with two ‘0’s. My excuse? Lame as it is — I live in British Columbia.
You two are neat! Wish you could come over for coffee. Thanks for the info. Cheers, Muriel

    • Don’t worry, everyone from North America does that. We used to live in Portland on the banks of the Columbia River, and we’re big fans of Columbia sportswear. So of course we misspelled it plenty ourselves when we first moved here! I wish we could join you for coffee – who knows, maybe someday!! Have a nice day, Muriel.
